Biography

Hendrick Doremus was born in Acquackanonk, New Jersey in May 1695 to Cornelius Doremus and his wife, Janneke Van Esland. He married Annatje Hessels on April 14, 1716, in New Jersey. They had seven children in 13 years. He died in 1733 in Essex, New Jersey, at the age of 38.
