Louisa, also known as Louie, was born in 1875. She was the daughter of Stephen Dorey and Sarah Nineham.
Her brother Bob said "Louisa, "Louie", followed her sisters by working in the village and at Encombe House. After a few years she left the village and went to work for Lord Salisbury at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. There she married one of the Coachmen, George Hurford, and after three years they decided to seek a new life in Canada. There they remained and raised a family, returning a few times to see Kingston again".
Louisa died in 1961.
