Elizabeth Dorman was born in Kentucky, United States, daughter of Peter Eddy Dorman (1803 - ) and Lucy Chowning Kemper (1809 - ).
Elizabeth married James William Kennedy (born in Grant County, Kentucky on 13 Dec 1840; died in Cynthiana, Harrison, Kentucky on 14 Jul 1925), son of William Kennedy and Catherine Campbell.
Elizabeth's daughter was Sarah Elizabeth (Kennedy) Hicks (1878 - 1949).
