Biography
Hilda was born on 9 January 1878 in Bradmond Park, Middlesex.[1] She is the daughter of Jerome Dorney and Frances Tompson.
At the time of the 1892 New York State Census Hilda was living with her parents and siblings in Brooklyn, New York.[2] Hilda was in a similar situation in 1900, but by then she was working as a telephone operator.[3]
Hilda married John Francis Fay on 21 August 1904 in Kings County, New York.[4]
In 1910 Hilda was living with her husband and two sons, John F, age 4 and Donald J, age 0 in Brooklyn.[5]
Hilda died on 28 August 1916 in Brooklyn.[6]
