Constance Dorney was born in 1908. The Warrnambool Standard ran an article on 10 March 1924 with the title ‘Connie Dorney Fingers Crushed’.

Constance married Thomas Dynon, a jockey, in 1928; they had a daughter, Ninnon, and three sons together.

Constance died at a young age and while her husband looked after the three sons, Ninnon was sent to live with Constance’s sister, Gwen.

DYNON. —On the 17th May, at private hospital, Essendon, Constance, dearly beloved wife of Thomas Dynon of 173 Epsom road, Ascot-vale, and loved mother of Ninon, William, Patrick, and John, aged 28 years. —Requiescat in pace.
