Research Notes
This Daniel Dorrell should not be confused with Daniel Dorrell born 8 January 1832 and died 21 March 1912. Both men were of the same name and both were in White River Township, Johnson County, Indiana at the same time. Both men went by D. D. Dorrell. The elder Daniel's obituary[5] shows that this Daniel was not the son of that Daniel. The 1870 and 1880 census records also show no Daniel as a son of the elder Daniel.
