Biography
Wax and Tallow Chandler and Turner, of the Worshipful Company of Tallow Chandlers; of 53 King Street and late of 3 New Street, Westminster, London, England.
Background
He was the son of William Dorset, Gentleman, and Elizabeth Daves, of Westminster, London.
Marriage and family
In about 1795 in London he married Mary -, with issue at least eight children. She died in 1826.
Later years
In 1834 he was a Witness at the marriage of his daughter, Sarah Frances Dorset, to James Webster, at St Margaret's Church, Westminster.
Death and burial
He died in February 1845 in Westminster, London. He was buried on 22 February 1845. Aged 81 on burial record.
Will
3 Jan 1844: Estate to his daughter Mary Brown (widow), Sole Executrix. Proved: 11 Aug 1846. Note: by 1846 Mary Brown, widow, had married John Sewell.
