Francis Dorsey Sr. was born in 1696 in Anne Arundel, Maryland to parents Edward Dorsey and Margaret Ruth Larkin. He married Elizabeth Baker about 1724 in Maryland. Children: Priscilla, Venitia, Sarah, Elizabeth, Keziah, Margaret, Francis Jr., Larkin. His will was made on 5 Jun 1749. He died on 17 Feb 1750. His will was probated on 5 Jun 1749 in Maryland.
