Obituary: "Mrs Sarah Klinkhammer: Brantford friends will regret to learn of the passing of a highly esteemed former resident, Mrs Sarah Dorsey Klinkhammer. Whose death occurred yesterday at noon at the home of her son Mr. Michael Klinkhammer, Jackson Mich. Mrs Klinkhammer had for many years lived in Brantford coming here when a young bride from Seaforth where she was born. Eighteen years ago on the death of her husband she removed to Jackson. To mourn her loss is one daughter, Mrs H J Tennant Coutts Alta. And four sons, Leo Coutts Alta. Herman Grand Rapids Mich. Michael of Jackson Mich. and Joseph M of Brantford." ^[3]

She married St. James Church Seaforth Ontario Canada July 15 1878 by Rev Dean Murphy ^[4]
