Biography
Owen Dorsey was born on 25 Apr 1809 in Maryland to parents Levin Dorsey and Mary Margaret ___. He married Louisa H Iglehart on 14 Sep 1832 in Baltimore, Maryland. Children: Edmund, Ann, Marcellus, Mary E, William Thomas, Maria Louisa, Henry Owen, Oliver A, Cornelius, Laura. He died on 16 Feb 1897 in Licking, Ohio.
Owen was a machinist and invented the Dorsey Reaper. See Archives of Maryland Online
