Biography
Herbert was born in 1933. He was the son of Harold Doster and Gladys Recob. He passed away in 2017.
Herb was born January 11, 1933 in London, Ohio; the son of Harold and Gladys (Recob) Doster.
Most of all, Herb loved his family. On June 29, 1963, Herb married the love of his life: the former Mary Schuyler.
A veteran, Herb proudly served his country in the United States Army as an SP3.
After attending the New York School of Photography, Herb started Herb Doster Photographer in 1968, winning many awards for his photography, and he was a member of Senior Photographers International and the Michigan Photographers Society.
An avid softball player, Herb was a pitcher in the Delton Leagues for many years, retiring from softball at the age of 82.
Herb and Mary loved farming and gardening, selling produce at many area farmers markets.
A member of Hickory Corners Bible Church since 2005.
