Biography
This record was found but we do not believe this to be the same person because Fern Holder Dotson remembered meeting him as a child. "enlisted Civil war Company E 18 September 1861 at age 19. Rank Private. Promoted Corporal February 1863. Enlisted in Watauga County N. Carolina and did not survive. We are not completely sure this is the correct Abner Dotson.
