Maiden name known from the death record of her child, Andrew McKim.

On the census of Pugwash, Cumberland as Sarah McKim, age 60. In the household of her husband Robert (age 58); a Methodist farmer[1]. She was living with several of her children, and everyone in the household was listed as having been born in Nova Scotia. Her ethnicity, and that of her husband, was given as "Irish".
