A previous version of this profile made this unsourced claim: "Hannah's parents died soon after her birth Thomas Doty (Edward) d.5 Dec 1678 (age 38), Plymouth and Hannah's mother Mary Churchill d.before 1678, Plymouth (age 23)." The claim is correct about Thomas's death (although the name "Edward" is questionable). The claim is flatly incorrect with regard to Mary, who actually lived beyond 21 October 1725.[30][31]
Hannah's stated age at death raises a question about her date of birth. Performing the arithmetic suggests that she was born in December 1676, rather than 1675.
