Possibly also the brother of Daniel Doty who left a will in Middletown, Ohio, 22 Nov 1847. He mentions a daughter Betsey (Elizabeth) who was the wife of Ambrose Doty. Daniel was leaving her "80 acres of land in the south half of" (don't have the rest.) Noland 588.
