Chris was born in 1969 at Kenepuru, Porirua, New Zealand. He grew up in Wellington, before moving to Auckland where he lives now.

His maternal grandmother, Elvina, was born on Pitcairn Island, and through her he is descended from three of the mutineers on HMAV Bounty:

Chris is a direct maternal descendant of Vahineatua and has the mtDNA haplogroup b4a1a1m1 - a polynesian marker from the area around Tahiti.
Chris is a descendent of Mayflower passengers Richard Warren (1583-1628), Francis Billington (abt.1606-1684), John Billington (abt.1580-1630), Elinor (Unknown) Armstrong (abt.1582-aft.1643) and Thomas Rogers (abt.1571-1621) through a sailor who emigrated to Pitcairn Island, Samuel Russell Warren.
Chris is also a descendent of Mayflower passengers John Howland (abt.1598-1673), Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland (bef.1607-1687), John Tilley (bef.1571-abt.1621), Joan (Hurst) Tilley (bef.1568-abt.1621) and a founder of Nantucket, Massachusetts, Tristram Coffin Sr. (1608-1681), through a sailor that shipwrecked on Oeno Island and moved to Pitcairn Island to live, Philip Cook Coffin.
His earliest New Zealand ancestors, the family of Annie Congdon arrived on the ship Westminster in 1842.
The next ship to carry ancestors of his to New Zealand was the Minerva in 1847, carrying NZ Fencible James White and his wife Sarah Ann Coles. James was a leading member of the initial community of Howick in Auckland.
His Double line first appeared in New Zealand on the arrival of the family of Charles Cornelius Double on the ship Rooparell, arriving in 1874.
Chris is a keen researcher of the history of his ancestors and speaks te reo Māori having studied it for a number of years. He welcomes contact on any subject in English or te reo Māori.

I am sorry, but when the project made Fletcher Christian a Project Protected profile, they took it out of my hands. I am not sure if I CAN add you to the Trusted List. It says on the project page, "You need to be a Profile Manager, Project Coordinator, or Project Leader to edit them." This would be a another good question for the G2G Forum.
I assume that you could create profiles for his family members and link them up.
