Biography
William Samuel Wharton Doubleday was born 3 Mar 1874 in Spooner Row, Norfolk. [1]He was the son of Samuel Doubleday and Mary Wharton. He was christened on 3 Mar 1874 in Wymondham, Norfolk.[2][3][4]
He married Amelia Bailey Dennis (or Denney?) (born 1877 in Wicklewood, Norfolk) in 1900 in Wymondham.[5]
He was a butcher and the family lived in Pople Street, Wymondham.[6]In 1911 they had moved to Cavick Road, Wymondham and he is listed as a Farmer's son working on a farm.[7]
He passed away 11 Oct 1956 in Forncett St Peter, Norwich. [8][9]
