Odo Doucet is a descendant of an Acadian

Firmin Odo Doucet was the son of Ange Francois Doucet and Mathilde Cottreau.[1]
He was born September 28, 1868[2] in Tusket Wedge, Nova Scotia[3], and was baptised September 29, 1868 at St. Michael's[2] in Tusket Wedge.[4]
He was a fisherman by trade.[5]
He married Marie Resine Boudreau, the daughter of Alexandre Boudreau and Melanie Deveau, on January 20, 1898 at St. Michael's.[2]
The couple settled into the home he had built on the Corporon Road in Tusket Wedge[6] where they raised their family of 12 children[2]:

Firmin Odo died June 22, 1953 in Wedgeport,Nova Scotia[5], and his funeral was held June 27, 1953 at St. Michael's[2] in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia.[4]
