Biography

Madeleine was born in 1753. She was the daughter of Charles Doucet and Anne Arseneau.[citation needed]

Maria Magdelaine Doucet married Joseph Hache in 1772 in Acadie.[1]

Madeline b 1748 at Beaubassin, Acadia. In 1751 she married, in a Civil Service at Ile St Jean, Joseph Hache-gallant son of Charles Hache-Gallant and Genevieve Lavergne. The marriage was validated on June 22, 1772 at Bathurst, New Brunswick.Pierre b 1751 at Beaubassin, Acadia married Marie-Hache-Gallant on September 10, 1775 at Miscou, New Brunswick. Born in 1747, Marie was the widow of Joseph Arsenault and the daughter of Jacques Hache-Gallant and Marie Joseph Boudreau. Pierre is the great grand-father of Father H.A. Doucet, the first resident priest of Jacquet River, New Brunswick. Pierre died on May 13, 1813 and is buried in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
