François Doucet was born around 1709. He was the son of Germain Doucet, a Mi'kmaq from the river of Port-Royal, and Françoise Unknown. This Germain Doucet is NOT of the more famous Germain Doucet Family, not connected to those parents by White and not by MWLandry.
On 25 June 1726, at Annapolis Royal, he married Marie Pisnet, daughter of Pierre Pisnet and Anne Unknown. She was a nineteen-years-old Mi'kmaq of Cape Sable.[1] The witnesses were Joseph Amiraut and François Amiraut.
No children are known for this couple.[2]

Dans le recensement, l'épouse de Germain Medosset est appelée Marie-Charlotte, mais au registre paroissial c'est Françoise qu'on lit comme prénom de l'épouse de Germain Doucet.
