Biography

Joseph Doucet was born between 1716-1720 in Beaubassin, Acadie[1]

He married Elisabeth Carret in 1739 and they had five children: Marguerite, Joseph, Marie, Pierre, Rose.[1]

He died at Isle St. Jean, Acadie between 1746 (which was the birth of his last child) and 1750 (when his wife/widow remarried). [1]
