Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1861 in Louisiana to Auguste Doucet and Elizabeth Kimball. In 1870, the family was still living in Louisiana.[1]

She married Lucien Pitre. In 1880, the couple was living in St Landry Parish, Louisiana.[2] By 1900, they had nine children.[3] They were still in St Landry parish in 1910, and had seven children at home.[4]

They are mentioned in the marriage records of their son, Francois Pitre, to Marie Aline Guillary on 09 Dec 1915 in Evangeline, Louisiana.[5]
