sigh. I went to delete it, and realized it says 1587 birth is gov't record also, and 1587 isn't sourced in the bio. So... still need a weblink please.

Thanks!

oh - nevermind. it looks like duplicated information that's already sourced in the bio to freereg.org.

Hi! You added information to Abney-99 that appears to be from familysearch.org but does not have the usual citation with URL that FS offers. If you obtained the information online, could you add the URL? Thanks!

Hi Wesley,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Wesley,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Looking for Doughman connections in Warren or Clermont County, Ohio, before 1850. Jacob Doughman marrying Christina Meyers Snell. Do you have any clues? Thanks from Jane

Yes there is proof of their marriage. entry:

Dukeman, Jacob (Goshen, widower) to Tiny Snell (widow) 10 May 1831, by Peter Yost, M.G. Hi Wesley,

I’m Susie the new leader of the England Project. We are contacting all existing members of the project to find out how you are currently involved, and how you would like to be involved moving forward. Please have a look at the England Project page for more information, and then contact either myself or Gillian to let us know what you’d like to do, or if you have any questions. We can then list your interests, help you join the team in the Google group forum for England, and give you any help you might need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you no longer want to be a part of the England Project at this time.

Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,

Susie :-)

Wesley, If you also have Carter-225, it is a duplicate of Carter-20984, but have had no luck in merging, therefore it is an unmerged match currently.
Hi Wesley,

Thanks for the welcome. I do already have a familysearch account and am working on building that. My dad's family is definitely from Gays Creek. I believe your mother and my grandfather, Franklin Pierce Gay, were first cousins.
