I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. Thanks for the welcome. I do already have a familysearch account and am working on building that. My dad's family is definitely from Gays Creek. I believe your mother and my grandfather, Franklin Pierce Gay, were first cousins.
