Biography
David George Douglas, 80, passed away peacefully on 1 September 1950 at Anson, Chippewa, Wisconsin. He was born on 8 October 1869 at Chippewa Falls, Chippewa, Wisconsin, a son of Daniel Shaw Douglass, 1829-1903 and Sarah Marie (Copp) Douglass, 1829-1919.
Mr. Douglas was survived by: his children, Martha A. (Douglas) Ashley, b., 1893; Daniel Richard Douglas, b. 1894; Raymond Le Roy Douglas, b. 1896; Arthur C. Douglas, b. 1900; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Flora, 1875-1947; and siblings, Edward O. Douglas, 1852-1925; Mary A. (Douglas) Hendry, 1853-1895; and Richard Daniel Douglas, 1861-1902.
David is buried at the Copp Cemetery, Anson, Chippewa, Wisconsin. The findagrave memorial ID is 92874573.
