George Douglas, born 16 Jul 1739 @ New London, Connecticut, was the fifth child of Sarah Denison & William Douglas. He was baptized 26 Aug 1739.

He married 3 Feb 1765 Elizabeth Lucas, daughter of Ivory & Mary Lucas; she died 26 Jan 1823.

George Douglas died 10 DEC 1807 at New London, Connecticut. His grave is in Cedar Grove Cemetery (Plot: Section B), New London, New London County, Connecticut USA: Find A Grave: Memorial #104822872

Inscription: Age 69. 2 Note: Originally buried in the Second Burial Ground, then moved to Cedar Grove.
