Biography

Erskine Douglas is a member of Clan Douglas.

Erskine was born in 1812. "He removed to Springfield,Ill. and subsequently to Richmond, Mo. He was a friend of Stephen A. Douglas and accompanied him on his tour through central Ohio when the latter was a candidate for the Presidency" He passed away in 1881.
