Biography

Clyde was born about 1890. He was the son of Angus Douglas and Ella Stewart. He passed away in 1965.

Mr. Douglas was a native Arizonan, born on a ranch near Gila Bend. He was a rancher all of his life in Yavapai and Maricopa counties. He and his father, Angus Douglas, raised cattle until to his father’s death in 1926.

With his son George, he developed a large ranch in the Morristown area, extending toward the White Tank Mountains. In the 1930s, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas managed the Champie Guest Ranch in the Castle Hot Springs area.
