Mabel V Douglass was born on 14 April 1868 in Brisbane Water, New South Wales, Australia, the twin sister of Bertha Ann ^[1], the daughter of William Douglass and Harriet Foreigner and the sister of John Duncan Ferguson [half], Harriet W Douglass, William Albert Douglass, Cassandra Clementine (Douglass) Mead, Lucilla Jane (Douglass) Smith and Bertha Ann Douglass.

Mabel died when only 9 months old, on 10 January 1870 in Brisbane Water, New South Wales, Australia ^[2].
