Biography

Horace was born in 1808. He was the son of Richard Douglas and Rhoda Clawson. [1]

He was married twice. The first time to Fanny Cook of Morristown (d 25 Oct 1851) and then to Mrs. Mary J. Wells of Cambridge NY (d Oct 1870). [1]

He became a doctor and eventually moved to Bakersfield, California. [1]

He has one son, William, who was in Rutland, VT in 1876. [1]

He passed away in 1882.
