Biography
Enoch Heard Douthitt was born on 7 June 1890 in Leon Co., Texas to James Dorson “Doss” Douthitt and Eudora Eugene (Ward) Douthitt.
He married Laura Rebecca Peters in 1916.
Together they became the parents of Clarence Roger Douthitt, Melvin Heard Douthitt, Dora Alberta Douthitt, Imogene (Douthitt) Whitley, David Gilmore Douthitt and Joseph Julian Douthitt.
Heard passed away on 24 February 1979 in Hamlin, Jones Co., Texas and was buried at Douthitt Cemetery near Margie, Leon Co., Texas. [1]
