Biography

Emily Dover was born in the parish of St Clement in east Oxford in Oxfordshire, probably in early 1847. She was the daughter of John Dover and his wife Hannah, born Hannah Wood. ^{[1] [2]}

In 1851 Emily Dover was living in Caroline Street in east Oxford with her parents, John and Hannah, their other children, and her cousin Thomas Dover. Her age was given as 4, implying a birth date in 1846 or 1847. Her birthplace was given as St Clement, Oxfordshire. She was at school. ^[2]

She passed away in 1906.^[3]
