Biography

Catherine was born in 1826. She was the daughter of Robert Dowdy and Rachel Byrd.

She married William Green Edwards. By 1850, they had a son, Robert, and were living in Davis, Lumpkin, Georgia.^[1] By 1880, theyhad moved to Adairsville, Bartow, Georgia.^[2]

She passed away in 1899. Burial was in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Adairsville, Bartow, Georgia.^[3]
