Teresa was born in SF Bay Area in California. She married and they had a son a few years later. She and her husband eventually divorced. Teresa and her son continued to live in SF Bay Area. Teresa retired from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory after working there for 34 years. In 2015, she, her mother Mary Ann, and her brother all moved to Roseburg, Oregon. Teresa was happy to leave the traffic and stress of SF Bay Area but sad to leave her son behind. Teresa enjoys the quiet life in rural Roseburg, Oregon living not far from her father and step-mother. She began volunteering for dog/cat rescue group in California in about 2007 and continued to volunteer for them even after moving to Oregon as there is plenty to do remotely. In 2018, Teresa picked up the genealogy work her mother started in mid-70's. Going through her mother's volumes of genealogy records and photos will take many months as her mom worked on it for over 30 years!

Thank You Teresa for all of the errors you have corrected that I have made. I do not know all of the ins and outs of Wiki Tree and any help I very much appreciate. Gail Andrews

Re: Dora A. Metzler. I got the middle name Alma from another researcher, Allen Schieber probably 20 years ago. He was the one who had worked out this branch of the family. I don't know his sources. Most of my of my information is on the Lancaster part of the clan and is based on the Metzler information in the Landis Family History done by a survey of living relatives circa 1954. My grandmother was a Metzler, so some information on our close family is from my father and family members.
