John Downs was born on 17 March 1924 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, United States.[1] His parents were John Downs and Mary Pearson. He had two younger brothers, Thomas and Francis.[2]
He passed away on 13 March 2006 in Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan, United States.[1]
