Family is very confused with information regarding this relative. Birth location is Ohio or Indiana. No known death date. I was told he is buried in Spicewood cemetery. There is no head stone. Only word of mouth. This is my brick wall..

John was born about 1815-1818. He married Mary Sackman on 27 Aug 1853 at Preble, Ohio.^[2] They moved to Boone county, Indiana before 1860.

Research

I paged Marion, Boone Co IN 1860 census and did not see them. Do you know what twp they were possibly in then?

This probably wont help any of your confusion... but thought I would bring it to your attention. Now there are some problems with it. She is marked male, and the other is marked female with no name indicating gender. Nor is marriage indicated in 1860. And of course with your luck there is scribbling over the ages. But I think EJ is 35? But interesting.. And if it is Mary, could be living with her brother?, (in 1850 a Jacob & Sarah (Preble Co)are living with an Asa Sackman age 10,) so that part fits. Also find it interesting that the initials are E J, as there is an Elsworth and maybe Elmer in the family. Feel free to delete or discuss this.McClintock-715 23:01, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
