Biography
James "Jippy" Robinson Downs, the second son of James Robinson Downs and his wife Letitia Vick, was born in Vicksburg on 16 July 1861.[1]
In 1886, he married Lilly Wood in Orleans Parish, Lousiana.[2]
- Their daughter, Martha D. Downs was born about 1894. She married Paul L Eger and died in Los Angeles, California on 22 February 1936.[3]
James died 29 September 1896 at Anguilla, Sharkey County, Mississippi.[4]
