William Downton was aboard the RMS Titanic.
Research Notes re Titanic
The biography on Encyclopaedia Titanica has slightly different information to that listed on this profile. It has been assumed that this the correct person as this profile was already listed as having died on the Titanic and only one W.J. Downton is listed. There is another brother also named William. Whilst that William has a wife named Emily, none of the children names match the research shown on the Titanica site, so perhaps needs to be looked into further.Veronica WIlliams 07:55, 25 August 2016 (EDT).
