Biography

Doris was born in 1919 in Illinois to Charles F and Elizabeth Doyle. By 1930, the family was living in orange County, Florida.[1] She married Luther B Hobby in Florida in 1938.[2] They divorced in 1942.[3] She married her second husband, James Tillman Payne Sr, in 1947, becoming his second wife.[4] She passed away in 1988, and was buried next to her husband in the Garden of the Last Supper, Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Tallahassee, Florida.
