Laurence Joseph Doyle was born on 7 July 1916 at the son of Thomas Lawrence Doyle and Mary Cecilia Chambers. ^[1] and he was the brother of Eileen May (Doyle) Brown, Wilfred Thomas Doyle, Harrold James Doyle, Leo Francis Doyle, James William Doyle, Thomas Doyle, Mary Cecelia Doyle and Robert Doyle.

He married on 1 May 1946 in the St Nicholas Church at Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia^[2].

Laurence died on 30 July 1987 in New South Wales, Australia ^[3].
