Janet Doyle was born in 1899 in Margaree Forks, Nova Scotia, the daughter of John Moses Doyle and [Tompkins-1963|Mary Anne Tompkins]]. In 1911 she is living with her parents in Havre Boucher, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. IN 1921 she is living in residence at St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She immigrated to Brookline, Massachusetts in 1923 at which time she is described as a graduate nurse. She married John McLellan in New York in 1928. When she applied for US naturalization in 1934, she was living with John and three children in Bronx, New York. Janet was residing in Boynton Beach, Florida in 1997 when she died.
