Gretchen was born on 2 May 1910 in Macon County, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Arthur Drake and Margaret Dills. She passed away on 19 December 1996 in Rabun County, Georgia[1] and is buried in Rabun Memory Park Cemetery, Tiger, Rabun County.[2]
Gretchen married Jay Wood.
