Note H26[Beadle-McKnight2.GED]
Last Sunday afternoon the Angel of Death entered the home of J.S. Drake and took from the family circle the eldest son, LeRoy.
LeRoy Chester Joseph Drake was born at New Market, Minn. on Sept 22, 1905. The family moved to Hinckley five years ago.
The child had been complaining for several days but was not thought to be seriously ill, his pulse and temperature remaining normal until a few minutes before death. Death was due to a complication of diseases.
The funeral will be held this afternoon from the home. The many beautiful floral offerings boar witness to the love and sympathy extended to the sorrowing parents and little brother Dale.
Mr. Drake's mother from Northfield is here for the funeral.
Probably from Northfield News - Jan 19, 1913.
