Ann was born Ann Drake on 23 October 1817 Mirfield, Yorkshire & baptised Ann Drake on 16 November 1817 Mirfield, Yorkshire the daughter of John Drake & Hannah. [1]
The marriage after Banns of Emanuel Clapham (full) (bachelor) (mechanic) [of Birstall] & Ann Drake (19) (spinster) [of Birstall] was conducted on 22/8 March 1842, Tong, St. James, Yorkshire. Father of bride & groom noted as John Drake (clothier) & William Clapham (moulder). [2]
A mechanic's wife with husband Emanuel& children Samuel (8), Mary (5) Emily (2) & parents in 1851 living in King Street, Cleckheaton, Yorkshire.[3]
In 1871 with husband, daughters Mary & Emily living in Burwell Court, Bradford, Yorkshire.[4]
