Biography

Peter Drake was born at Feltwell, Norfolk, England in 1700. He was the son of Peter Drake and Mary Foster He was baptised at St. Mary, Feltwell on September 19, 1700.^[1] Peter had a sister Mary, who was eight years old when he was born, there were no more children.

Peter married Elizabeth Russell at St. Nicholas, Feltwell on September 4, 1743.^[2] and they had five children between 1743 and 1762.

Peter died at Feltwell and was buried there at St. Mary on September 3, 1773.The burial register calls him 'the younger', because his father, of the same name. was still living in Feltwell. ^[3]
