Pleasant was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Pleasant was born in 1796 in Virginia, daughter of Thomas Drake and Lydia Beale. She married William Cazier in 1815 in Virginia. They had nine children - 6 sons and 3 daughters.

Pleasant died at Winter Quarters in 1846.
