Biography

Stanley John Draper was born in 1895 in Wycheproof, Victoria, Australia, the son of Ann Grant (Angel) Draper and Edgar Richard Draper.^[1]

He served in WW1, and was a Corporal in the 13 Field Artillery Brigade.^[2]

He married Rita May Leahy in 1919 in Victoria.^[3] Their children were:

• Inez Draper
• Desma Draper
• Dick Draper
• Roy Draper
• Baby Draper

Rita died in November 1928.^[4]

Stanley died in 1969 in Melbourne, Victoria, aged 73 years.^[5]
