Biography

He was married to Miss Mary Alice Cummins August 25, 1878. Mr Draper was one of Putnam's most prominent farmers and livestock traders, but in 1910 gave up those activities to become trustee, which office he held until 1914. Mr Draper resumed his farm and stock activities, continuing them until his death. He moved to Cookeville from Smyrna in 1910 after his election as trustee, and he spent the rest of his life as a resident of Cookeville. He is survived by his widow and 4 sons, Amonette, Harvey, Howard and Gilbert Draper.
