Emily Jane Sibraa, daughter of James and Bridget, was born at Murrumburrah in 1870. In 1893 she married James Draper at the Cooleyarbooro Hotel, on the Wanaaring Road, 22 miles (35 kilometres) west of Bourke. James was born in 1861 at Molong, north of Orange. He was the son of James Draper and Matilda Morton, married in 1853 at Carcoar. According to Greville's Directory, James Draper was a squatter at Redbank, Molong.
Emily's and James's six children, Marjorie, James, Frederick, Milton, Laura and Dorothy, were born at Molong, Dubbo and Nyngan between 1893 and 1905. Dorothy remained in contact with her cousin, my mother, Phyllis Hannan (née Watson), born at Nyngan in 1908.
James died in 1945 and is buried in South Head Cemetery. Emily died in 1946 and is also buried in South Head Cemetery. Of Emily's and James's children Laura is buried at Nyngan; Milton is buried in Waverley Cemetery; and Marjorie, James, Frederick and Dorothy are buried in Sydney.[4]
