Biography

John Lyles Draper was born on 10 June 1849, in Smyrna, Rutherford, Tennessee, United States. His father, Ridley Draper, was 23 and his mother, Rebecca Kuykendall, was 21.

He married Anna Elizabeth Caruth about 1872. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 7 daughters. He lived in Putnam, Tennessee, United States for about 20 years and Justice Precinct 1, Fannin, Texas, United States in 1900.

He died on 28 December 1903, in Ector, Fannin, Texas, United States, at the age of 54, and was buried in Belmont Cemetery, Ector, Fannin, Texas, United States.
