  • Paternal relationship is confirmed through Y-chromosome DNA testing. Daniel Draper, FTDNA kit #943504, and his 7th cousin once removed, Vernon Draper Jr., FTDNA kit #342445, match at a Genetic Distance of 7 on 111 markers thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their MRCA Thomas Draper Sr.. (This has been reinforced by testing from two other lines, though members of these branches are not currently public. Every DNA-based claim is supported by document evidence .)
